Huge sandwiches - lots of choices, we customized one with mortadella and soppressata. 2 people could eat 1 sandwich for lunch and still have leftovers! We ordered online.

My wife and I knew nothing about this place, but a man with his suitcase came out of the restaurant pointed at two of the sandwiches on the menu on the wall and said "I'm from Florida, got off the airplane and came directly here. I recommend one of these two, but everything here is (chef's kiss)." We went in and she got the one named for the restaurant. Absolutely fantastic. They carve the meat for you, fresh tomatoes, roasted peppers, mozzarella, balsamic on a sesame seed bread/roll/loaf! We asked that they bring this store to Minneapolis. We have nothing like this there. And they are HUGE! My wife hasn't finished the first half of this panini! They only take cash, but they have an atm in the restaurant. Come. You will be back. I know we will!

Pisillo Panini (9/10): This sandwich comes with prosciutto, porchetta, mozzerella, roasted peppers, arugula, and balsamic, creating the best combination of flavors. The sandwich is literally massive -- so much that it lasted me 3 meals! The roasted peppers brought a sweetness that balanced the arugula and tangy balsamic. The bread was also great and held the ingredients together well.

I was so excited to try this authentic Italian sandwich shop and absolutely loved what I ordered! The workers were extremely friendly and helped give recommendations and even offered us samples of their fresh cut meat!! I got number 27 which has sliced roasted chicken, mozzarella, and hot peppers. I loved the acidity and spice of the hot peppers and the semolina bread was AMAZING! This location is cash only, but they have an ATM available. The sandwiches are huge and definitely can be used for two meals! There's some seating inside but it was a bit hot so we took it to go! Definitely will be back

This tiny family run place is legit! Big sandwiches!!!! You can feed a family with 1 sandwich! Fresh bread and meat sliced to order. Can't go wrong. The owner is on the meat slicer building sandwiches for customers. I love it! You don't really see that anymore. Super happy we stopped here! Thank you guys!!!

I stopped by here for lunch and got the L'Aquila which is apparently one of their most popular ones! I got it on Focaccia which was very yummy, but quite heavy. The whole sandwich was MASSIVE. Next time, I'd like to try just on a ciabatta. Overall, ingredients were fresh and so worth the money.

Pisillo is a small hole in the wall in FiDI serving the most insanely huge Italian sandwiches. I never know which sandwich to get; there are so many options. However, I tend to always get the Firenze Panini -- chicken breast, peppers, provolone. Sounds simple but it's delicious and fresh. Also, their bread is fantastic.

I pass by Pisillo on a Sunday morning, there are some tall tables inside so you can sit down and have your meal there. It was not too busy. Make sure you have some cash as its CASH ONLY! I had the L' AQUILA SANDWICH with roasted chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and arugula in focaccia bread. This sandwich is really good and quite bit and you need to be hungry to finish it in one sit. The sun dried tomatoes makes it juicy and it has big portions of good quality mozzarella. Very fresh, totally recommendable. ESPAÑOL Pasé por Pisillo un domingo a la mañana, hay varias mesas altas dentro así que puedes sentarte a tomar tu almuerzo. No estaba muy lleno. Ten en cuenta en que necesitarás efecto ya que es ¡SOLO EFECTIVO! Me comí el sandwich L' AQUILA que lleva pechuga de pollo asada, mozzarella fresca, tomates secos y aurugula en un pan de focaccia. Este sandwich es realmente rico y bastante grande, necesitarás tener hambre para terminártelo de una vez. Los tomates secos con aceite lo hacen muy jugoso y tienen grandes porciones de mozzarella de buena calidad. Muy fresco, totalmente recomendable.
